The main goal of this project proposal is to build relationship between the Hungarian and the Norwegian partners in order to establish and prepare the grant project proposal effectively which submission is planned in the frame of the Green Industry Innovation Programme area „More use of environment-friendly technologies (Sub-programme 2)”.
Increased cooperation and joint initiatives bring people and institutions together and create space for improved knowledge through sharing experience, knowledge, know-how and technology. Through strengthening relations between the partners we intend to bring new perspectives into the process of development, we will be able to assess the requirements of the possible partners and the future market from a wider point of view and establish scientific collaborations in the future.
One personal contact between the Norwegian and the Hungarian partners and elaborating of a background study will be realised until the end of the project. Details of the project activities are described below.
The meeting is planned to take place at Bergen, Norway between 22nd and 24th September 2013. Four people from Hungary are visiting our host company, EnSol in Norway, two people from the project promoter, Avicor, two people from the project partner, BRC, and one person from project partner RIA-SGP.
During the team meeting the major aim is to describe the objectives and conditions of the call for the grant proposal, and to discuss the professional and financial details of the planned project. Determining the professional competences which are required for the implementation of the grant project, defining the role of each partners and scope of the duties as well as planning the hierarchy of activities and tasks are also significant issues the partners should agree on. Since the main activity of our grant proposal is a technological development, the issue of intellectual property rights is particularly important therefore it is also needed to be discussed in the beginning of the cooperation.
The aim of the meeting is to prepare the contract of the consortium, and to discuss the maintenance period of the project. Major focus is on the possibility of involvement of further resources or partners and the methods of industrial exploitation of the technology implemented under the project proposal because the utilization of the technology could create great opportunity for boosting further national and international collaborations and mutual industrial developments.
During the project implementation we are planning to elaborate a background study. The purpose of the study is to establish the industrial development, to serve as a relevant, professional background for the implementation of the grant project.
Main objectives of the background study:
1. Describing the implementation of the development during the grant project, defining the objectives and activities of the project.
2. Describing how the synthesis and application of substituted polyaromatic dyes contributes to the objectives which were set out in the call for grant proposal, how could it help reducing pollution through developing more environmentally-friendly technology.
3. Cooperation between project partners
4. Analysing the state of the art, analysis of the technological background in a way which provides an international overview of the market. Defining the demands and requirements of the market, how to meet the challenges formulated by the possible international and national partners. Describing the directions which are available for the experimental development.
5. Describing the potential effects and sustainability of the project, outlining opportunities for further development of project results. After the implementation of the project emphasis is shifting on the exploit of the technology. In the background study we plan to describe the methods and directions of this utilization, which includes defining possible national and international partners for collaborations and mutual industrial developments, similar calls for proposals in order to gain support from EU or EGT funded subsidies. Besides the possibilities mentioned above, opportunities for collaboration and cooperation provided by the Extreme Light Infrastructure (ELI) project - one of its three laser facilities is located at Szeged - is worth to take into account the technological linkages and context between the technologies. ELI will be the first infrastructure in the world to en¬able the investigation of the interaction between light and mat¬ter with the highest intensity, in the so called ultra-relativistic range.
6. Identifying the potential risks associated with the implementation of the project, outlining solutions to them.
